Mylius yacht M50

The new Mylius M50 is the latest generation high performance & medium range cruiser, designed for the owner who is passionate about the Mylius style: a concentrate of design, high technology, quality and performance typical of all Mylius yachts.

In just over 15 meters and 9 tons of displacement, this new 50′ combines all the distinctive elements that place its big sisters at the top of their respective categories.
It is the light model of the fleet, a sports boat that enhances the taste for navigation; it is fast under sail and when motoring, allowing you to quickly reach the most beautiful destinations in the Mediterranean; a marine boat, easy to sail even with a reduced crew and, last but not least, a boat that can be managed with reasonable costs.
The new Mylius M50 is also an excellent racer, designed on the experience of the successes achieved by previous versions, which therefore promises to take on a leading role in the most important inshore and offshore regattas.

Mylius 50 has an overall length of 15.60 meters, a maximum beam of 4.48 meters and a maximum draft of 3.50 meters.
The sail plan offers almost 170 sq m upwind and 375 sq m. downwind, thanks also to a generous asymmetrical spinnaker of more than 270 square meters tacked to the bowsprit.
The deck plan, designed according to Mylius’ distinctive linearity and cleanliness standards, offers ample living spaces for cruising and is ergonomic and functional for sporting and racing use; it has the double steering wheels in an advanced position, with the mainsail track aft of the steering position and a German-style mainsheet.

The winches on the sides of the companionway serve to the function of primaries and halyards winches. In the square top mainsail configuration, the backstay winches are aft of the steering consoles. The transom can be opened to allow the storage of a small tender in the lazarette.

The interiors, designed in a light and sporty concept, guarantee the necessary comfort for sport cruising and are offered in two different versions, with two or three cabins.
The owner’s cabin with dedicated head and shower is positioned in front and comes in two different configurations; with two French-size beds (one on each side) and private owner head forward or with double bed and bathroom area divided into two parts, with toilet and washbasin on port side and separate shower on starboard side.

The main saloon, in a central position, has large opposing L-shaped sofas, with a table that can be used at two different heights. The galley and the nav station area are on the side of the companionway ladder, with the sink and the stove on starboard and a refrigerator port side.
The aft guest area has a cabin on port side with separate bathroom on starboard or, in the three-cabin version it is possible to create a second bathroom instead of the shower.It is also possible to arrange the sail locker in front with an emergency berth; a large locker with access from the deck completes the availability of stowage spaces.
