Mylius M80 DS A Blue Water Cruiser that offers everything you need for long cruises.
A real Blue Water Cruiser, offering everything you need to long cruises in the Mediterranean and in the ocean; with great habitability, adequate stowage spaces and long-distance autonomy; a yacht that preserves the style of Mylius, in design, marine skills and performances. These are the project objectives of the new Mylius M80 DS developed to revamp the Mylius M76 DS after some units already launched starting from 2015 and to consolidate the presence of MYLIUS in the market of fast-luxury yachts under 24 meters of LOA.
Hull and deck of the new Mylius M80 DS have therefore been entirely redesigned, with an overall length just below 24.0 meters and a maximum beam of 6.30 m.
The sail plan has been resized due to the greater displacement of the project and offers almost 350 sqm upwind and 800 sqm downwind, values that place the Mylius M80 DS, a full carbon construction with a displacement (light ship) of 33.0 tons, of which 35% of ballast, at the top of the category of this type of boats with its sailing performances.
The deck retains the large outdoor spaces that characterized the previous version, with independent access to the crew area and dedicated spaces for friends and guests free from the maneuvers; the deckhouse has been entirely redesigned, reduced dimensions and new lines give to the MYLIUS 80 great elegance and an extremely sleek appearance.
The interiors are characterized by the rational distribution of spaces already developed in the previous version; however, the more generous dimensions of the new hull have allowed to increase the volumes of the guest cabins and the saloon and offer a perfect solution that allows the installation of a lifting-keel.
The proposed layouts offer 4 or 5 cabins, depending on the combinations chosen; the owner’s cabin with large bathroom occupies the bow area; the two guest cabins, also with bathroom and shower for exclusive use, are placed amidships; it is also possible to create a fourth guest cabin with bathroom with access from the main saloon.
The stern area, equipped with independent access from the cockpit (single central or double lateral) is dedicated, in both proposed solutions, to the crew and to on-board services.
MYLIUS M80 DS is equipped with two crew cabins with two heads and a large galley, on starboard side, just aft of the main saloon.
The engine room and all the tanks are located in the spaces below the main saloon with access from the floorboards.
There is also an additional access to the engine room from the crew area, to allow easy and immediate inspection of the main system and components. Ample internal and external stowage and service spaces are provided; in addition, a large sail locker in the bow and a garage in the stern, which allows to storage a tender of about four meters length.
