Mylius participates in the DIBS Dubai International Boat Show The Mylius shipyard is participating for the first time in the Dubai Boat Show, considered the most important nautical exhibition event in the Middle East.
The show, born 30 years ago, brings together 1000 exhibitors and 200 boats in the spectacular setting of the city overlooking the Persian Gulf.
It starts on February 28th and closes on March 3rd.
For the Podenzano shipyard, exhibiting in Dubai is new: “For us it is the first time and we approach our participation – declared Valentina Gandini, CEO of the shipyard – with a spirit of discovery and the desire to enter this market especially with our boats motor in which we believe a lot. The first examples of the very fast 47 footer are about to sail and we are confident in its performance.
It’s a boat worth seeing, with a particular aesthetic.”
Mylius’ offer at the moment is divided into several directions: the first two examples of M47PMotoscafo are currently being delivered. It is a fast 47 footer designed by Alberto Simeone, built with high technology and designed to be used as a tender or cruiser which can accommodate 4 people below deck. The “double step” hull allows greater control and comfort at higher speeds, thanks to the lower exposed wet surface and greater lift, making navigation fast, safe and fun. It features four Mercury Racing 500R outboard engines which are not only the “driving force” of this extraordinary vessel but also allow the internal and external spaces to be optimized to the maximum. The great power suggests exuberant performance to say the least.
The other line of motor boats is MY, MotorYacht.
At the end of the 2023 season, the 62-footer was launched: in this case these are very habitable boats both on deck and inside. MY 62 was designed and engineered by the Ceccarelli Yacht Design studio in collaboration with the Parisotto + Formenton studio, who took care of the interior design. In this case the engines are two 725 horsepower Volvo IPS 950s with which the boat reaches a maximum speed of 28 knots. The internal fittings are divided into a large full beam owner’s cabin, two guest cabins and a crew cabin. The Mylius motor range is set to grow in offering with new models to be presented ahead of next season.
What remains is the now consolidated production of sailing boats which were the beginning of the production activity of the Mylius brand and which are still an important part. The flagship is the appreciated Mylius 80 which has defined a particular quality standard, a boat that wins in regattas but which will take its owners on holiday. Another cornerstone of sailing production is the Mylius 66 RS, created to be a Blue Water Cruiser, designed to offer great habitability, comfort and safety, during long cruises and stays on board. Mylius will also present some innovations in the sailing field during the season.
